Terms
Last updated:
These terms cover buying and using Shoji, a window manager for macOS made by Guido Crego. By buying or using Shoji you agree to them.
Your license
- A Shoji license lets you use Shoji on one Mac at a time, for personal or work use.
- You can move your license to another Mac: deactivate it in Shoji’s Settings on the old Mac and activate it on the new one.
- Please don’t share your license key, resell it, or try to get around the license check.
- Shoji stays ours: you get a license to use it, not ownership of the software.
Buying
Orders are processed by Dodo Payments, our reseller and Merchant of Record. They take care of payment, taxes and invoices, and their terms apply to the purchase itself. Prices include taxes where they apply.
Refunds
You can get a refund within 14 days of buying. See the refund policy. If an order is refunded or charged back, its license stops working.
Updates
Updates are included with your license. We may add, change or remove features over time; we’ll try hard not to take away what you rely on.
No warranty
We work to make Shoji reliable, but it’s provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for anything related to Shoji is limited to what you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that can’t be waived.
Ending the license
If you break these terms, we may end your license. You can stop using Shoji at any time.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Argentina.
